Axel - Colour me heartless

Ok so this is my first attempt at a digital painting (not a lasso tool or fill bucket in sight) I think I did alright...I certainly put a lot of time and effort into it (4 days worth lol), I even did a background D:
Still any comments / tips on how I can improve are appreciated

I just painted him for my own diabolical ends ...so now I guess I have put pressure on myself to do more**
